Walk into Hotel Olympia and you immediately feel at home. Your hostess, Valerie, makes every effort to arrange things to the liking of her guests. She has successfully transformed the former office building of horticulturist Frederik Sander into a warm and homely family hotel.
The ideal base for a visit to Bruges and environs
The three-star Olympia hotel is situated in a quiet, safe residential neighbourhood within walking distance of the city centre with its historic buildings, bustling shopping streets and superb restaurants. After a short walk of just 9 minutes, you enter the old city through the Smedenpoort, one of the four medieval city gates.
The immediate environs of Bruges have a lot to offer too. From the hotel you can take signposted cycling routes to explore the green Brugse Ommeland area around Bruges or the Belgian coast. The Westhoek with its numerous First World War monuments is well worth a visit. Your hostess, Valerie, will be happy to give you directions!
